Apprentice candidate Phillip Taylor has admitted that Kate Walsh is just the sort of woman he’d like to marry.

Phillip was fired from the show last week for being too cocky and shooting his mouth off but the experience left him with more than just honed business skills, he also got a girlfriend thrown in for free.

In an interview with Heat magazine Phil opened up about his and Kate’s relationship saying:

“Well you always dream of marrying a beautiful woman don’t you – put it this way if I was going to marry anyone I’d like it to be her.”

He also opened up about their first kiss while filming the BBC show.

Phil said: “It was after task three – we were hanging out with each other before the boardroom meeting. I told Kate to close her eyes and when she did I lent in and kissed her! She was laughing at me but I knew at that point she liked me too.

“We were slipping each other kisses here and there and there were lots of stolen moments. When we were in the lounge we’d sneakily hold hands or if the lights were down a bit of a kiss.”

Phil is so besotted with Kate that he is he is relocating to be nearer to her.

He said: “We were worried about when we got out that the distance would be a problem but we talked about it and decided that we would make it work and in fact I am going to move closer to where Kate lives to make it work which is a big decision for me – my feelings for Kate have made me want to take that risk.”
