The Apprentice: Sir Alan Sugar Says Candidates are Out For Fame

Alan Sugar

Sir Alan Sugar has admitted that a lot of the candidates on BBC reality TV show The Apprentice are more interested in being famous than in working for him.

Sir Alan told Closer magazine: “Sometimes they go into the competition for the wrong reasons. They say to me: ‘Can you find out who Cheryl Cole’s agent is?”

“I think their intention at the start is to secure the job, but as soon as they see their face on the TV, they get delusions of grandeur.”
