It’s been reported today that former The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman has hit back at some of her Twitter followers who criticised her for posting a picture online of her three year old daughter Dixie holding a glass of champagne while posing for a snap on Christmas Eve.
The image was posted with the comment, “Cheers! Merry Xmas #posingwithmummyschampagne.”
However, it seems the PC brigade of anorak wearers were huddled over their computers breathlessly waiting for something to criticise, and sure enough, one user of the social networking site wrote, “Responsible parenting”.
The Sun reports that another commented, “A good example #socialservices.”
Luisa – who launched her own baking company after her time on The Apprentice was over – hit back, “She’s really p***ed, she loves it. God, relax, you bore.”
She later added, “Might tweet a picture of my daughter posing with a cigar next, just so me and my family can sit laughing at the haters.”
The paper adds, “Luisa caused more fury by appearing to poke fun at the appearance of a woman who criticised the bubbly snap. The posts were then deleted.”
I have to say, I do agree with Luisa over how boring it is that something so innocuous could be taken so seriously…
People really do need to lighten up. After all, it wasn’t as if the child was being force-fed vodka or something. And in fact, she was merely holding the glass, not glugging from it!
The whole nanny state attitude really irritates me to be honest, and the hashtag #socialservices was just plain ridiculous and totally over the top.
What say you?
However, that isn’t the only hoohar surrounding Luisa on Twitter as she’s also come in for stick over posting jokey pictures of herself and a group of friends messing about in her bathroom.
She was particularly vilified for pictures of herself and her best friend apparently naked together in the bath.
Again, crime of the century? Methinks not.
Here’s a reminder of Luisa on The Apprentice…
