The Apprentice Will Have Four Finalists
This years Apprentice final on BBC One will have four finalists instead of two, The Sun has reported.
The chosen four are all currently working for Sir Alan Sugar on a temporary basis and the winner will be chosen from this group in a live final next month.
The change to the format is most likely because the winner from last years show, Michelle Dewberry, quit after just weeks into the job. Sir Alan this year, wants the chance to get to know the contestants a bit better.
He told The Sun: “We’ve not really decided how the final will work yet.
“But there are four in the frame at the moment. I was very happy with Tim and he’s doing absolutely the right thing branching off on his own. But I wasn’t very happy with the calibre of contestants last year, to be frank with you. There’s a lot of regrets from last year — maybe turning up would be the biggest.
“I agreed to do it after a long period of debate. I’ve had more input into how the candidates are chosen, and there’s a core of very strong people this time.”
