It’s week two in TV’s toughest teen master-class and this week the 11 remaining candidates must overcome any teething problems and create, design and brand an innovative new baby product before pitching it to three retailers in the childcare market.

Lord Sugar keeps the teams as Girls vs Boys but with everything to play for, will there be tears and tantrums in the boardroom?

BOYS ARE RATTLED AS THEY STRUGGLE TO AGREE ON A BABY PRODUCT

While the girls, led by Gbemi, quickly agree on a support and comfort themed product the boys, led by Lewis, struggle to work together on an idea. As James challenges Harry M: “You’re completely opposed to any idea just so that your idea can get the praise”, Ben takes a step back and admits: “Dirty nappies and crying babies – not my style.”

As the girls plough ahead with a baby support sling called ‘Comfy Curve’, the boys fail to keep up and waste time exchanging ideas which are quickly vetoed by the other team members. Nick Hewer observes: “Amongst the group there really is a strong sense of competition, it’s all about ownership.”

GIRLS THROW THEIR TOYS OUT OF THE PRAM AS ZARA MAKES QUESTIONABLE MODEL CHOICE

Over on the girls’ team, film buff Zara is put in charge of casting models for the advertisements but her decision to cast a black mother and white baby is met with hysteria from her bemused team.

Realising that her choice has come under fire, Zara retorts: “Gbemi you are Project Manager so please can you take control of the situation and compose yourself a little.” Still laughing at Zara’s questionable casting, Gbemi says: “Don’t tell me to take control of a situation that you have already made decisions for. What do you want me to do, change the colour of the baby?! Give it a tan?!”

BOTH PMs BOTTLE IT AFTER SHAKY PRODUCT PITCHES

With the boys eventually settling on ‘Harris The Hippo’ a bottle warmer in the shape of a cartoon toy, it is time to decide who will lead the all important pitch. PM Lewis takes the lead with PM Gbemi similarly putting herself forward for the girls but will both decisions prove fatal?

After a shaky delivery from Lewis, James comments: “If I was them I wouldn’t order one. I do think it is a good product but the pitch was woeful.” With mediocre pitches from both PMs, Harry H and Haya step forward on their respective teams in the hope of salvaging their chances. But has each coup come too late?

Tune in tonight, Monday 31ST October at 9PM on BBC ONE, to find out who will be the next teenager to hear Lord Sugar’s immortal words: You’re Fired!
