Ed from Dorset is 34 years old and teaches music lessons three days per week at a local school, as well as running his own music shop.

He first started singing aged 12. In his early 20s, he worked as a singer most nights in local hotels, bars and clubs singing cover versions.

About nine years ago, people started telling him he sounded like Elton John, but it wasn’t until 2002, after meeting a Tina Turner tribute act, that he started performing as Elton. An experienced piano player Ed is familiar with Elton’s back catalogue.

He has been with his wife for 16 years and they live with their two boys aged 11 and four.

Ed describes himself as larger than life and flamboyant just like Elton himself. In his spare time he loves to write music.
