I agree, the set is very basic and it felt like a cheap imitation of a talent show. I am hoping the sets for the live shows are better! What is the prize? My friend, has always wanted to sing, she has been done it professionally and i cant help in thinking that this is not really what she wants.. Shes better than this. Well after the first 4 or 5 acts yesterday, my friend and I turned to each other and asked - 'are we missing the joke?' Unfortunately not. I have been looking forward to this show for weeks, but looks like my Saturdays nights will be looking pretty bleak for the next 6 weeks. (Where DID they do the auditions for this? I can't believe that Las Vegas is ready for any of this shower!) How embarassing!
