It’s all going on in Essex, what with a new book revealing the steamy underbelly of the town, and Mario Falcone threatening to slap The Wanted’s Tom Parker if he calls him “a second rate Mark Wright” just once more!

And it’s also been reported today that James ‘Arg’ Argent decided to lose weight and sort his orthodonture out after his ‘pal’ Joey Barton had a few digs at him via Twitter over how he looks.

But first, as to Mario Falcone’s threat to Tom Parker – which came after Tom tweeted a few insults in TOWIE’s direction, including saying the were “famouse for nothing” – Mario told Now magazine, “I guarantee he wouldn’t call me a second-class Mark Wright. I’d slap him if he did…”

Mario added, “He was [also] rude about Lydia Bright’s mum Debbie Bright, who’s the nicest person in the world. Lucy asked me to go on Twitter to sort it out.”

And his last dig was, “My point was proven when The Wanted performed on The X Factor. They sang live and it was terrible.”

Yikes, claws in girls!

On now to yet more bitchiness with regard to what footballer Joey Barton had to say to Arg, who he branded “fatty” last year.

In a Twitter message to Arg, Joey wrote, “Leave it u stonehenge teeth. Cheeky giving it bigguns, leave it large undies.”

He later added, “Right fatty now ur fair game. Can’t believe ur giving it with them teeth like a burnt down fence.”

So, in response to the hurtful criticism, Arg has shed nearly two stones and paid £5,000 on new teeth from Essex dentists, Smile Design By Ash.

Of his transformation, Arg said, “Joey Barton had a real pop at me on Twitter. I don’t really care now. He’s just a bully.

“But the stuff he said about my teeth really got to me. I had been planning to have them fixed for a while and it did give me that extra push.

“I’m definitely looking better than Joey now!”
