It has been reported that The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright had her boyfriend James Argent thrown out of the National Television Awards last week, after they had a furious argument.

The blonde beauty is said to have asked organisers to revoke the singer’s VIP pass to the event, forcing him to retreat to a local bar. James tweeted about the incident, telling his followers that his no show was “a long story”, but “for the best”.

However he has since deleted the message.

The Daily Star claimed that Lydia – who attended the bash with her stunning co stars Lucy Mecklenburgh, Sam Faiers and Lauren Pope – was the one responsible for James being refused entry to the NTA’s.

However, other insiders have claimed that the reports are not true and his not attending the event was simply because there were not enough tickets for the TOWIE cast.

“The Only Way Is Essex were only given ten tickets,” one source insisted, adding:

“Producers thought it would be better to have all the sexy girls out partying together as they’d get more attention and more coverage.

“Arg was pushed aside for the more glamorous cast members.”

The Only Way Is Essex starts for it’s fourth series tonight on ITV2, no doubt we’ll find out the real story then.
