James Argent was in a serious car crash last night, he has revealed.

The star of ITV2′s The Only Way Is Essex took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to tell his followers about the incident and assure his fans that he was ok.

The partner of blonde beauty Lydia Bright was making an appearance in Dundee with his manager Neil Dobias, when he was involved in the collision.

Arg tweeted:

“Guys iv had a serious car crash in Dundee, I am ok and on the way back home to Essex. This has really taught me some things, Love you all! X”

He added:

“Thanks for all your messages of support guys. Im still in shock but have no injuries, At home now. Im a very lucky boy indeed!

“For everyone Driving 2nite, Dont Rush its not worth it! Roads are Icy and Dangerous, Be careful as its a miracle im not hurt! Love you all X”

The weather conditions have been pretty poor this week and accident reports have went through the roof, due to black ice and frost patches.

Arg’s crash occurred as he made his way to Dundee airport, where he was to catch a flight home to the south of England.

Is it awful that our first thought was ‘I bet the ITV2 cameras were on hand to capture all the drama for series four!’?
