Danny O’Donoghue will miss Jessie J, is not dating Bo Bruce, has a new girlfriend and will be back for The Voice 2013 … Phew!
Danny O’Donoghue has insisted that Jessie J has not been sacked from The Voice, because she acted up off screen.
The ‘Domino’ hitmaker will reportedly not be appearing on a second series of the BBC show and some fans had speculated that she was laid off by BBC bosses because she behaved like a diva during the 2012 run.
At the time it was reported that Jessie was rude to BBC controller Danny Cohen and that she and her entourage were constantly throwing their weight around on set.
However in an interview with The People, fellow coach Danny insisted that nothing could have been further from the truth and said:
“She wasn’t a diva at all. I have never seen her throw tantrums.
“Jessie is incredibly articulate and she’s headstrong. That sometimes can be misconstrued as being too arrogant.
“But she’s a brilliant role model for young women.”
Danny seemed surprised that Jessie wouldn’t be back on the BBC show and last week revealed that he had been trying to call both her and Tom Jones, with no joy.
He added to the newspaper:
“I’m really sad she’s not coming back. We have a great friendship.”
Danny also took the opportunity to deny rumours that he was dating former Voice contestant Bo Bruce.
It was claimed that the pair had gotten together close to the final show in June and that their romance had destroyed Danny’s relationship with model Irma Mali.
However the hunk said that in actual fact he has another woman waiting in the wings, explainin:
“Everybody kind of bought into it but no, there’s nothing behind it.
“I’m back in touch with a girl I was seeing before I was in The Script. We’ve been texting. Watch this space.”

I will def. miss Jessie on the show. Too bad she won’t consider replacing Christina on the version of The Voice over here in the states. Glad Danny is still apart of the show and even Will. I’m okay with Tom being gone. I’d like to see Pink or Katy Perry replace Jesse. Not sure who I’d want to replace Tom. As for Danny and Bo.. I do think they were dating but it didn’t last and he has moved on.
I will miss Jessie so I hope someone good replaces her like adele! I wish Danny and bo were together cause they just work and they would be an amazing musical couple!
Jessie gone = bad
Tom gone = good
thought Jessie good as a judge whereas Tom was forever trying to make it seem like he was the best judge and he wasn’t.
So glad Danny is staying – he’s a good judge and he’d also very fit. Mind you Danny and Bo were so dating even if they aren’t any more they should have kept on dating because they were so sweet together.
Not sure whether I like Will or not he was forever saying ‘dope’ this and ‘dope’ that, but he was quite funny so I suppose you can’t have it both ways
Jessie should be replaced by Katy Perry, that would work but not sure who I would want to replace Tom, possibly not another guy but another girl such as Adele?!
I liked the voice especially the blind auditions but i felt it got boring towards the end and even the tour was cancelled. I am glad Tom is not returning bless him but i think you need some more popular people like cheryl cole etc to get more viewers in – enjoyed first series but not sure i will be back for series two as prefer x factor its more interesting
Danny and Will.I.Am are awesome on the panel so am pleased they are returning
