Did Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Kelly Clarkson, Adele and David Guetta refuse to appear on The Voice?

The Voice moves into it’s final stage this weekend and insiders have claimed that bosses were keen t end things on a high note, with a whole host of celebrities duetting with their hopefuls

Sources say producers approached singers such as American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson, acclaimed singer songwriter Adele, along with Justin Bieber, Flo Rida and David Guetta and asked them to collaborate with the finalists. However it is claimed that all the A listers said no.

The Daily Star reports that after being turned down by the international stars, bosses opted to have Bo Bruce, Leanne Mitchell, Tyler James and Vince Kidd sing with their mentors instead.

Bo was reportedly intended to sing with Adele and supposedly commented:

“I really wanted to sing with her.”

A spokesman for the show insisted that they had never intended to run celebrity duets though and said:

“The Voice format has been adapted for UK audiences. We never planned to have other artist duets for the final.”

After Kyie Minogue and Cheryl Cole performed on the semi final last weekend, this Saturday will see performances by Ed Sheean and Maroon Five.
