Indie and Pixie spark bidding war on The Voice this weekend!
Pixie Highey and Indie Murton are set to shine on The Voice this Saturday night.
In the last Blind Audition show of the series, the singing duo – who met while studying at the ACM in Guildford – will be seen singing for Jessie J, Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue this weekend, hoping that they have done enough in their tryout to make the later Battle Round stages.
Describing their sound and style of music, Indie and Pixie wrote on their Facebook page:
“Together we like to think we’ve created a poppy/rocky/fuckyouall sound with our harmonies and cool dance moves.”
In the video teaser at the bottom of this post, the girls are featured at the 18 second point, shown as one of the acts that sparked a bidding war between the coaches, who were desperate to land the pair for their team.
In this last week of tryouts, Will.iam needs to add three more acts to his team while all the other coaches have only two spaces remaining.
Forty lucky acts will then perform on next week’s Battle Rounds, in which they will compete in pairs for their mentor, who can then only choose half of their acts for the live shows.
Watch the clip of the girls singing and tell us, do you think they are good enough to make it to the next stage and beyond to the live shows?
We think they’re pretty amazing! Leave your comments below…
