John James Newman will be one of the final singers featured on The Voice this weekend.

The handsome singer from the south east of England has been song writing and performing for years and has previously provided tracks for stars such as Kylie Minogue, Chesney Hawkes and Joe Cocker and on his official website, reveals that he also does a lot of writing for stars of European versions of The X Factor.

However, this weekend, John James will be hoping he can shine in his own right and will be seen performing in the blind auditions of the BBC show for Jessie J, Will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones.

He has previously opened for international superstars Bon Jovi, Natasha Bedingfield, Elkie Brooks, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Jools Holland and The Sugababes. However, the hopeful was still nervous when he took to the stage to sing for the coaches of the BBC series.

The Voice continues on Saturday at 7pm, for the final week of tryouts, before moving onto the Battle Rounds on the 21st April.
