Matt & Sueleen admit The Voice is ‘like a roller coaster!’
Matt and Sueleen will be making their live TV debut on tonight’s episode of The Voice and it’s fair to say that they are a bit nervous about the show.
The couple won a place on Team Tom Jones at the recent battle rounds stage of the BBC series, when they beat Lindsay Butler in a sing off, though we have to admit that the mum of two did not make it easy for the duo.
They are the only group in the competition and tonight, the pair along with their Team Tom and Team Will rivals, will take to the stage in the hope of avoiding elimination tomorrow night.
Speaking to Kent News, Matt – who works as a chef – and Sueleen – a teaching assistant – admitted that they are finding the whole experience nerve wracking yet exciting and explained:
“It feels like a roller coaster. One second you’re excited, at the next turn your heart leaps into your mouth, charging headlong into the unknown. With the support of our friends, family and fans we hope to continue this exhilarating ride.”
The couple are working hard already in rehearsals this morning, trying to perfect their performance for tonight’s show.
They tweeted their fans just minutes ago saying:
Just arrived at the studio, atmosphere is buzzing!!! Mx
So guess what tonight is? You got it, the live rounds. We need everyone’s support to keep us in the competition,…
And it seems Matt and Sueleen aren’t letting the competitive nature of the show affect them too much, as they added:
The Voice returns tonight at 7PM and will feature performances from all of Team Tom and Team Will. On tomorrow night’s results show, one act from each team will be eliminated.
