The Voice 2012: takes Frances Wood and Kate Read to his recording studio! was so keen to make sure that Frances Wood and Kate Read got their duet right, in The Voice Battle Rounds, that he took them to a private recording studio so they could hear themselves sing more clearly.

The Black Eyed Peas star chose the classic Alanis Morissette track ‘Ironic’ for the girls to sing in the latest satge of the BBC show, but became concerned when it seemed that Kate’svoice was being overwhelmed by her rival.

Even Will’s guest mentor Dante Santiago told the bespectacled singer that her vocals were ‘so little’ and he told her that she needed to ‘project’ her voice more, if she wanted to stand a chance against Wood.

Later, admitted that he loved Read’s tone, but understood that she didn’t have enough experience, so he took both girls to his recording studio, where he taped them singing their individual sections of the track.

Tune in tonight at 7.30pm to see if his efforts paid off and if Kate presented herself as a worthy rival to Frances in the Battle Rounds.
