Leah McFall and Will.i.am have been knee deep in rehearsals all this week, as they prepare for their first live performance since they sang together on The Voice.
The Belfast born singer was at the centre of a controversy when she failed to win the BBC show last month and was pipped to the post by fellow Northern Irish star Andrea Begley on the final show.
Will.i.am was livid when the result was revealed and stormed off set, before engaging in a Twitter rant about Leah’s loss. However he very much still believed in the star and just days later whisked her to LA to begin work on her debut album.
After almost two weeks in the States, the pair are now planning their return to London, where it’s reported they will showcase the first of their new tunes at the Wireless Festival this Sunday.
Leah shared this picture of her and Will’s rehearsal yesterday, with the caption:
“Rehearsing with Will is … Hilarious!! Never laughed so hard 😂 ”
She is planning a bit of a celebration when she does return to the UK< as McFall turned 23 last week while in the US with her mentor. She added: "Flying back home In two wee days. A late birthday Party in London is happening. For sure." McFall will apparently be dancing with Will when they perform and she teased: "Feeling rather like Baby from Dirty dancing right now... Should probably get a pastel fleece, bad perm and ballet pumps."
It sounds like Will is excited about the upcoming performance too and he tweeted his fans yesterday saying:
“I can’t wait to go back to london..”
“I think @leahmcfallmusic and I just made the most heart melting song of our lives…#musicMEDICINE”
Are you excited about the pair’s new tunes? Will you be heading to see them on Sunday? Apparently their version of ‘Bang Bang’ is going to be released very soon. Watch the live performance and leave your comments below….
