The Voice 2013: Records show Holly Willoughby earned nearly £1million last year!
The Voice presenter Holly Willoughby reportedly earned around £980,000 last year, according to the latest accounts of her company, Peaches Productions.
But of course, that’s not all via The Voice, given that Holly also presents This Morning and last year, she designed a range of fashion clothing for home shopping company Very, and released a children’s book.
The Daily Star reports, “Holly is said to have earned £400,000 a year presenting talent show The Voice on BBC1.
“She was reportedly paid another £250,000 to host weekday show This Morning on ITV.
And the blonde presenter, famed for her low-cut dresses, signed megabucks deals to promote a mobile phone and toothpaste ranges.”
A TV insider said, “Times might be tough for most Brits but Holly’s been coining it.
“She’s beautiful, warm and comes across as very genuine.
“Women like her and men fancy her. That’s what makes Holly TV gold.
“Telly and advertising bosses are falling over themselves to sign her up. Holly’s had a great year financially, and is more popular then ever, even though The Voice didn’t live up to the hype.
“It wouldn’t be a surprise if she earns even more next year.”
Holly, who’s married to TV producer Dan Baldwin, said recently, “I have a long summer break of nothingness, which I’m very excited about.
“Once This Morning finishes for the summer, I’ve got six weeks off and I’m going to sit on my fat backside and do nothing with the kids.”
One assumes she means “do nothing” alongside her children, rather than have nothing to do with them for six weeks…
Anyhoo, here’s a reminder of why she earns the big bucks…
