The Voice 2013: Robbie Williams gearing up for Dizzee Rascal performance & praises ‘favourite coach’ Tom Jones
Robbie Williams has admitted that his favourite coach on The Voice is Welsh legend Tom Jones.
The Take That star was in the BBC studios last weekend to pre-record a performance that will air this Saturday night, during the series finale and chatting backstage about the panel Williams praised the Delilah hitmaker saying:
My favourite coach on The Voice, I can’t go any further than Tom Jones.
He has been my favourite coach and will always be my favourite coach no matter what he does.
Robbie performed with UK rapper Dizzee Rascal and the pair showcased their brand new single ‘Goin Crazy’ for the live studio audience.
Unreality TV were in the crowd and we can promise you, this one had everyone on their feet!
Williams tweeted about the appearance yesterday saying:
“Heading to @BBCTheVoiceUK this Sat to perform Goin’ Crazy with @DizzeeRascal!”
Tomorrow night’s episode of The Voice will feature the final four singers – Leah McFall, Mike Ward, Andrea Begley and Matt Henry – competing for the winner’s title and the record deal with Universal.
They will each perform two solo numbers and a duet with their coach, while viewers will also be treated to a live group performance from Jessie J, Tom Jones, Danny O’Donoghue and Will.i.am.
