The Voice 2013 spoilers: West End performer Liam Tamne impresses Will.i.am!
The Voice will finally return to our screens next weekend and to get you in the mood for another series of singing greatness, we have some spoilers and news on new contestants that will be featured on the BBC show.
Unreality TV attended a special press screening for the new series earlier this month and we’ve already revealed that Welsh singer Ash Morgan made quite an impression on Jessie J when he sang at the blind auditions earlier this year and we can also tell you that West End performer Liam Tamne very much stood out at the tryouts.
The handsome singer turned up to sing for Jessie, Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue at MediaCity UK in Salford earlier this year and performed “This Woman’s Work” for his audition piece.
We don’t want to give too much away about what happens during Liam’s song, but we can tell you that the hunk has a great set of pipes and that Will.i.am didn’t take too much persuasion to turn in his seat and offer Liam a place in his team. In fact he only needed to hear a few words and he was convinced!
Liam is a seasoned West End performer and has so far appeared in shows such as Les Miserables and Hairspray.
The Voice returns on Saturday 30th March, BBC One. Listen to Liam sing in the video below and tell us if you think he’s good enough to make the Battle Rounds?
