Fans of The Voice will know that singer Jessie J has called time on her role as a coach, as has The Script front man Danny O’Donoghue…
It has yet to be revealed whether coaches Sir Tom Jones and/or Will.i.am will return to The Voice in 2014, but it has been reported today that Will found out about Jessie’s decision to quit the show on Twitter!
In an interview with The Telegraph, the Black Eyed Peas star said, “I wasn’t really surprised when I heard Jessie was leaving, but I was sad…
“She didn’t tell me she was going. I found out on Twitter, when everyone was talking about it.”
As to his own future on the show, he said, “I don’t know if I’ll come back to the show next year.
“I haven’t thought that far ahead.”
However, he has intimated that he’d love it if former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole joined the coaching bench on The Voice.
He recently told the Daily Mail, “Cheryl has been very successful on music talent shows in the past.
“She is great with the contestants and really gives everything to them. But also the audience loves her, which is so important on these shows, you need to be likeable.”
Will added, “She has been concentrating on other things, but I could see her getting back into a talent show for sure.
“She would have offers from The UK and The US – but she would be perfect for The Voice.
“I love working with her, so it would be a pleasure for me.
“She is such a perfectionist in everything she does, so we will just have to see what happens.”

For now, here’s a reminder of Will performing with Voice finalist Leah McFall…
