Will.i.am has revealed that he isn’t sure he wants to return for another series of The Voice.

The Black Eyed Peas star recently admitted that he knew as soon as the first run ended that he wanted to come back for the 2013 shows, however it seems he isn’t feeling so confident about the 2014 series as he admitted he doesn’t yet know if he will commit to another year.

The BBC recently confirmed that a new series has been commissioned and the deadline for applications from new hopeful singers closes this weekend. However the panel lineup has not yet been confirmed and Will.i.am admitted that he will wait to see if Danny O’Donoghue, Jessie J and Tom Jones return before he makes a decision.

He told The Mirror, “I’ve been asked to do series three. But it would depend on who else was there and it would be a hard decision. I feel like I’m married to Jessie so it would be weird if she wasn’t there. It’s like cheating.

“I know that when I’m having a bad day I can look to my left and she will be pulling some weird face that will cheer me up. Tom will be chilled and Danny is an inspiration – he can make a song out of anything.”

He recently told The Sun that he will come back if the others decide to, saying:

““I have thought about next year. If you are having a good time doing something I don’t see why you’d want to stop. I’d be up for coming back. I like hanging out with Jessie and Dan and Tom’s company.””

Danny O’Donoghue added:

“We’ve been told another series has been commissioned but we have not been approached — so I’ll leave it until we’ve all been asked until I answer.”

Tom Jones continued:

‘The four of us make a great team — one without the other wouldn’t work.’

Jessie told the Daily Star Sunday:

“If I can do another series then it would be great but if I can’t because of my schedule then so be it.”

“I don’t think people realise it takes up a lot of my time. Everything happens for a reason. I don’t know what I’ll do – at the moment I’m focusing on this series.”

Will.i.am may be feeling differently this morning though, as he seemed pretty upset when Leah McFall lost the final on Saturday. The US star stormed off stage and later slammed the result, saying that while Andrea was good, Leah was the real talent on the show.

Her loss may have been a deal breaker for him!
