Danny O’Donoghue has reportedly laughed off reports that he is dating The Voice contestant Bo Bruce.

The Script frontman split from his model girlfriend of four years Irma Mali earlier this week, fueling reports that he was enjoying a romance with the 27 year old singer that he coached for the BBC series.

The pair performed a charged duet on the final episode of the talent competition, in which they almost kissed at the end and ever since Twitter and the web has been alight with rumours that they have been romantically linked.

But sources close to the Irish hunk say they are just friends.

One told The Sun:

“Danny has been laughing about the rumour, saying it is complete nonsense.

“He says there is absolutely no truth in it whatsoever.”

Danny’s spokesman added: “He is not having an affair with Bo.”

Danny may not be dating Bo, but he is 100% behind her and still supporting her and her music career. he tweeted this week saying:

‘Check it out , Bo bruce “Search The Night Ep” is number 2 in the charts. Let’s get it to number 1. #goteamdanny’

However, he seemed to address all the press speculation, writing:

‘All these silly stories in the press, focus should be on Leanne and the brilliant job shes done, well done team Tom , what a Legend;)’
