The Voice: Danny O’Donoghue turned down Cameron Diaz for girlfriend Irma Mali!
Danny O’Donoghue has admitted that he was once offered the chance to go on a date with Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz.
The singer and Script frontman was working in America, when the ‘Something About Mary’ actress propositioned him, however he turned her down, as he was already dating his now girlfriend Irma Mali.
The 31 year old star – who is currently coaching on BBC’s The Voice – told OK magazine:
“Cameron Diaz once asked me out. It was when we were both in New York on the Today show. She gave her number to my management.
“I didn’t call her, though. I’ve very happy with my girlfriend. To be honest I wasn’t even tempted. If me and my girlfriend broke up I’m sure I’d track her down.”
O’Donoghue has been in a relationship for four years with Dublin-based Lithuanian model and mother of one, Irma Mali. He met her when filming the official music video for his band’s hit song ‘Breakeven .’
Danny has a tense time ahead this weekend, as his team on The Voice take to the stage for the first time on the live shows. he has been locked in rehearsals with his singers all week, trying to perfect their song choices and staging and tweeted his followers yesterday saying:
On the way to rehearsals now, can’t wait to see how my team are getting on!!!;)
His role is doubly hard because not only does he have to mentor and coach the hopefuls, but on Saturday night, when the results of the public vote come in, he will have to choose one of his acts to send home.
Team Jessie J will also take to the stage and it has been reported that Emeli Sande will perform on Sunday’s results show.
