The Voice: Danny O’Donoghue wants to write for Bo Bruce but is NOT dating her!

Danny O’Donoghue has admitted that he would love to help Bo Bruce write songs for her debut album.

The Script frontman coached the quirky singer throughout the first ever series of The Voice UK and though she didn’t win and was pipped to the post by Leanne Mitchell on Saturday’s final, Danny still thinks she has a big future ahead.

The handsome star has vowed to help his pal pursue her dreams and wants to contribute to her first record, telling The Daily Star:

“I would love to write her a number one smash or help produce her album. I’d also love to duet with her.

“She’s a phenomenal artist. She could be the next Dido.”

Bo lost out on the chance to win a record deal with Universal when Leanne took the title at the weekend, but O’Donoghue doesn’t think she needs to worry and continued:

“I think she will be stupid not to have an album out in a few months.”

However, while he is massively supportive of Bo, friends of Danny have insisted that there is no romance between the pair.

The duo performed a charged duet to Professor Green’s ‘Read All About It’ on Saturday night, after which anyone with eyes was left wondering if they were perhaps dating or attracted to one another.

They finished the song right up in each other’s faces and at one point looked as if they were about to kiss.

Twitter went mad with people speculating on the nature of their relationship and the gossip only got worse when Danny broke down in tears as he described Bo as an ‘inspiration’ to him.

However, pals of the Irish star have insisted that he is happy with his model girlfriend and told The Sun:

“They’re not having an affair – don’t be ridiculous.”

“They have great chemistry but that’s just Danny being enthusiastic. He believes in Bo and they get on but that’s it.”

Watch the video below and tell us, do you believe them?

Their duet was amazing, but just because they sang face to face doesn’t mean they are involved. It was part of the performance.
