The Voice: David Julien, Becky Hill, Aleks Josh, Adam Isaac, Hannah Berney, Frances Wood told to delete their online recording

We recently reported on an amazing recording of Stevie Wonder’s ‘Superstition’ which was performed by some of this year’s finalists on The Voice, in one of their jam sessions.

Adam Isaac and David Julien had promised their Twitter fans a bit of a surprise, if they could pick up a few hundred extra followers earlier this week and when they did, they uploaded a recording of themselves, Sam Buttery, Becky Hill, Aleks Josh, Hannah Berney and Frances Wood singing around one of their laptops and taking different sections of the legendary tune.

However, bosses behind the BBC TV show seemingly weren’t happy with the contestants putting out music in this way, as Becky Hill revealed to Unreality TV that they were told to delete the recording yesterday.

The stunning singer – who was seen shining in the battle rounds episode last Sunday, in her duet with duo Indie and Pixie – told us:

‘We had to delete our tune.’

On why the team took exception to the stars releasing the song, Hill added:

‘It doesnt represent us in a professional way or something…’

However, the contestants are still jamming away, so perhaps there will be more releases in the future, as this morning Adam tweeted:

‘@MrDavidJulien and I just jammed a Greenday song.’

The Voice live shows begin this Saturday night, and all ten members of Team Tom and Team Will will be taking to the stage with individual performances.

Two acts – one from each team- – will be eliminated on Sunday’s results show. The following week will feature performances from Team Danny and Team Jessie.
