The Voice Final: Danny O’Donoghue predicted Leanne Mitchell and Bo Bruce for final after It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World (James Brown)
Leanne Mitchell was flying the flag for Team Tom on tonight’s episode of The Voice, singing ‘It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World’ by James Brown for the series finale.
The stunning singer was battling it out against Vince Kidd, Bo Bruce and Tyler James for the title of The Voice UK and the recording contract with Universal Music and once more rolled out a classic track in which she could showcase her powerhouse vocals.
She and Tom Jones played it safe with her song choice, staying right within her comfort zone but that didn’t make it any less of a wonderful performance.
This evening, Mitchell looked stunning with her flowing black jumpsuit, heavy eye makeup and long flowing locks. Her vocals were stunning and strong and she didn’t miss a note. However, what impressed us more was her smiles, her sneaky grins and her hint of personality throughout the song….and that big note at the end was totally awe inspiring!
Tom thought Leanne ‘stepped it up’ and ‘surprises people’ and said that he loves how ‘natural’ Leanne is both off and on stage.
‘I think it’s going to be a woman’s world after that. You are the most technically gifted singer. I think it’s Bo and you in the final.’
‘When Ruth had to go home I was sad but the way you just sung I am sure she is at home now saying ‘she really killed it.’
Jessie J concluded:
‘You just reminded me that this is the final. I have always been a massive supporter of yours and for a ling time you were overshadowed by Ruth but I am so proud of your growth.’
