The Voice UK: Danny O’Donoghue regrets losing Irma Mali over Bo Bruce?
Danny O’Donoghue is reportedly regretting investing so much time and emotion in his finalist on The Voice UK.
The Script frontman had tongues wagging, after he performed an emotional duet of Professor Green’s ‘Read All About It’ with Bo Bruce on the live final of the BBC show.
The handsome singer got so close, he almost kissed the 27 year old performer and stood with his hand intimately placed on her hip, prompting rumours that the pair were enjoying an affair.
At the time, Danny was dating his girlfriend of four years Irma Mali, though the pair have since split.
Insiders say the coach wishes he hadn’t gotten so close to Bruce and is aware that his relationship with the hopeful, may have been to blame for the brekadown of his and Irma’s romance.
A source told Now:
‘Danny got caught up in the show. He was trying to do his best for Bo – she’s been going through a really hard time as her mum is terminally ill with pancreatic cancer.
‘They formed a close bond.
‘But now he’s kicking himself for losing the person that really matters to him: Irma.
‘He’s begging her to give it another shot but after all the rumours, she says there’s no chance.’

However, if Danny is regretting his friendship with Bo, he’s hiding it well as last week he was very publicly supporting her on Twitter, as she pushed to get her recently released EP to the top of the iTunes charts.
He wrote:
‘Check it out , Bo bruce “Search The Night Ep” is number 2 in the charts. Let’s get it to number 1. #goteamdanny’
Bruce recently denied the rumours too, responding to a fan who admitted that she has a crush on Danny. She tweeted:
‘Of course _danny is all yours lady, thanks fer the congrats! no time for boys got me a record to make X’

Only Danny and Bo know the truth, we shouldn’t believe all we read, if press haven’t a story they make one up using a ‘source’. Their chemistry was undeniable on screen, whether that be artistic or of soul mates, only they know that. Danny wears his heart on his sleeve, that’s why he’s so watchable and seems such a lovely person, who wouldn’t fall for him. I hope these stories dont make him more guarded for next series, he’s the most passionate coach. It ‘s good publicity for the voice, but not so good for Danny,Bo or Irma who are potentially going to be hurt by these stories.
I completely agree. Just wish they’d leave them both alone now. He certainly does wear his heart on his sleeve and appears to be such a lovely guy. I wish him the best of luck and hope he is back on next years The Voice. Tom Jones may have been offically the winning judge, buy Danny definitely got most peoples vote
Its rediculous. They are rumours and they are quite often wrong. Irma should give him another chance to proove them wrong. Danny doesnt seem like the kinda guy who would do that sort of thing. just cos they are acting doesnt mean anything

I love Danny but he really shouldnt of got so close to Bo! Bo’s an amazing singer and really sweet and pretty but watch Break Even by the script…c the girl in it…that’s Irma…his true love…Feel sorry for Bo though
