Vince Freeman may have only featured on one episode of The Voice so far, but he is already feeling affects of fame.

The BBC series is growing in popularity and last weekend, was the most watched UK TV show.

34 year old singer Vince, from Plymouth, was featured on an earlier audition show and was seen wowing panel with his own take on King’s of Leon hit, Sex On Fire. He later joined Team Danny O’Donoghue and will be returning to our screens this weekend for the Battle Rounds.

In an interview with This Is Plymouth, the handsome performer admitted that he has had some very interesting offers because of his seven minutes in the spotlight and said:

“I’ve been asked to play at the World Snooker Championships, which is pretty amazing as last year their entertainment consisted of Squeeze and comedian Rory Bremner.

“I’ve also been offered a guitar endorsement deal by Hofner. They just offered to send a couple of guitars round and said, if you like them, use them!

“Plus I’ve been invited to play the Gloucester Food Festival, which is a massive two-day event for 80,000 people.”

Nice!

Freeman is also loving the affect that his TV debut had on his social media presence, admitting that he now enjoys engaging with his fans online, because they are so much more interested in him and what he is about now.

Vince added:

“At last I feel like when I blog or tweet, I’m talking to real interested fans, rather than just annoying people. And it’s great when You Are, a song that I offered as a free track on Twitter gets requested at a live show – it’s nice to think that the social networking is making sense.”

Freeman will be one of the first acts of Team Danny to be featured in the Battle Rounds and will be seen performing ‘With Or Without You’ by U2 with Bo Bruce on Saturday night’s show.

He thinks it’s going to be ‘brutal’ to watch and added:

“it’s going to be pretty brutal, but like the last round, with the swivelling seats, I think it’s going to make for really compelling TV.”
