The Voice: Will.i.am wants to come back but is worried he will be sacked! Heads out on the town with Tyler James!
Will.i.am has admitted that he is keen to return to The Voice next year but is worried that BBC bosses will sack him from the lineup.
The Black Eyed Peas star acted as a coach on the brand new UK version of the show this year, mentoring contestants such as Tyler James and Jaz Ellington.
James made it as far as the final three on Saturday night but was beat by Leanne Mitchell to the winner’s title and the record deal and next year Will wants to do it all over again.
He told The People:
“Of course I want to come back next year. The only way I won’t is if they sack me. I don’t think anyone knows what they’ll do yet. Nothing’s been decided as far as I’m aware.
“We’ve had a lot of fun and we’re all keen to do it again.”
The US singer said he, Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue all want to take part in a second series and are just waiting to hear about their fate from show bosses.
He continued:
“We’ll find out either way in the next few months. I’ve got my fingers crossed. We all want to come back for a second series.
“The show is dope. I thought it was going to be fun but I didn’t realise how much. It’s fresh and that’s why I want to return.
“I’ve made three great friends in the other judges. They have been loads of fun and I think we make a good team.”
Will treated his final contestant Tyler to a night on the town last night and afterwards, Amy Winehouse’s ex tweeted:
Great evening with @iamwill and @DanteSantiago1.Theres an exciting journey ahead people!!! So chuffed to have all of u on it with me.T xxxxx
He didn’t seem upset to have lost on the BBC show and just after the final wrote:
‘Last night was the most amazing night of my life.Thankyou all so much.seeing @iamwill later today. Big things are coming. Trust. T xxxx’

I hope Will, as well as the other 3 judges return. I thought they were a great team.
Will.I.Am made the show asfar as im concerned if he’s not in next series i won’t be watching
Willi.iam best come back he smashed it like he always does and Tyler should of won it !!! Doesn’t matter wether u used to be on drugs or drink he could sing everyone has a pass and needs to stop hating willi.am all the wat and and tyler I can’t wait to hear UR own tune soon xxx
