The Voice’s Tyler James passes on Will.i.am skills with YOUYOU Mentoring
The Voice UK finalist Tyler James has confirmed that he is backing a new project by YOUYOU Mentoring.
The organisation describes itself as a non-profit initiative which creates entirely bespoke mentoring projects for young people aged 17-21 who aspire towards careers in creative industries, hospitality, business, technology and conservation.
The talented singer is backing Double Exposure, a new exhibition curated by the organisation, and says,
‘I’m really happy to be supporting YOUYOU Mentoring and being a part of the exhibition. When I was mentored (and continue to be) from will.i.am it really changed my life. I know how important it is. I think YOUYOU is a wicked scheme giving young people great opportunities and helping them jump start into what they want to do.’
Double Exposure is unveiled in London this summer featuring a collection of portraits capturing stars from entertainment, arts, sports and business. Martin Kemp, Miles Kane and Double Olympic rower medallist Peter Reed are among the famous names supporting the project.
