Sarah Eden-Winn was pretty confident when she heard she was going head to head with Jermain Jackman in The Voice battle rounds recently.

The stunning singer has years of experience gigging and performing in public, while at only 18 years old Jermain has a lot to learn.

Both singers won a place in Team Will.i.am after their blind auditions and while Sarah impressed the star with her huge powerhouse voice, Jermain struck a chord with his smooth and soulful vocals.

For their battle song Will presented the pair with I Knew You Were Waiting by Aretha Franklin and George Michael. Sarah gushed:

“I love the song choice! It’s timeless and classic.”

She seemed confident that her experience would win out too and added:

“I have been gigging for almost Jermain’s age, so I think my experience will help me out with this one.”

However Jackman wasn’t considering defeat and told the team:

“I am coming with my A-game, Sarah watch out!”

Both singers performed in a head to head battle recently and Will.i.am was forced to choose just one for his team going forward.

It was a difficult decision and in scenes to be aired this evening he praises his brunette beauty saying:

“Sarah is just like a diva and I love watching her light up when she sings. She enjoys every note.”

However he also threw his weight behind our future singing Prime Minister and added:

“Jermain…I love the way he moves his little head…old school. He is going to be special that kid.”

Tune into The Voice, 7PM tonight to see which singer wins Will’s vote and who will be praying that one of the other coaches uses their steal.
