Fox is giving fans a sneaky peek at Adam Lambert in his new role as Eddie in the upcoming production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The network unveiled a 18-second sneak peek of Adam in character as Eddie and performing part of “Hot Patottie” ahead of the US premiere of the much-anticipated film on October 20, and it’s got us pretty excited for the big show.
The clip shows Adam in all his glory in the upcoming feature, rocking out to one of the production’s most iconic tracks alongside fellow stars including Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Tim Curry and Christina Milian.
Even better for fans of the former American Idol star? Adam’s version of “Hot Patootie” is also available on iTunes to download right here ahead of the premiere later this week.
Adam previously spoke out about being a part of the huge show earlier this year, where he admitted that he was pretty excited to get to work on the show.
“I grew up watching ‘Rocky Horror,’ but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision,” Adam admitted at the time.
“The Rocky Horror Picture Show always made me feel like it was OK to celebrate my weirdness,” Lambert continued. “Hallelujah, bless my soul! I love that old time rock-n-roll!”
