WAGS Boutique: WAGS In Meltdown Mode As They Reach Half Time

WAGS BoutiqueNICOLA T BECOMES MANAGER OF THE OPPOSITION

The girls latest challenge ‘Yummy Mummy’ is revealed by Isabelle Oliver. Charlotte Meares is sick and unable to attend. Each team has to stock and promote 100 items of maternity wear. They are only allowed to sell between 9am and 6pm on Friday 23rd March. The team that makes the most profit wins.

The shop managers are chosen: Better Half= Jadene and Bows= Nicola.

This week the managers aren’t allowed to nominate themselves for the Yummy Mummy challenge. Manager Jadene decides that Elle and Heather will do the challenge and manager Nicola decides that Julie and Krystell will do the challenge.

The girls have an extra surprise. The managers have to swap teams this week! Manager Jadene moves over to Bows and manager Nicola now works for Better Half. And to add insult to injury, proceeds of every sale they make will go to their new teams.

The challenge teams have been left 200 items of clothing and all they have to do now is fight, choose and grab 100 items each… and it’s every Wag for herself!

With 100 items chosen and 22 and a half hours until they are allowed to make their first sale, the girls can’t rest just yet and are told another big surprise- they are going to promote their clothes live on QVC this afternoon (Thursday 22 March.)

Meanwhile back at the shops, it’s fast approaching opening time and despite the miserable weather, customers are lining the streets already. The pressure is on for Jadene and Nicola as they have just become new managers for their opposing shops. And the first thing on their agenda is setting their rules for the week. Jadene explains she doesn’t want to sabotage Bows chances of winning and Nicola holds a pyjama party.

MICE INVADE BOWS

It’s 11.30am on Thursday morning and the shops have been open for 30mins. Despite the bad weather there are over 300 people queuing for the boutiques. Despite Jadene’s rules Michaela is already playing up and heads over to Better Half to join their pajama party.

Meanwhile Jadene is anxious to find Michaela and needs some help in a busy Bows. She pleads with Michaela to come back. But ignoring Jadene’s plea, the girls head back into Better Half for the all time favourite party game of twister. Still not seeing the funny side, Jadene storms into Better Half and starts to point the finger of blame at Cassie.

Meanwhile the challenge teams, Krystell and Julie, and Heather and Elle arrive at QVC headquarters to promote their favourite maternity outfit to ensure good sales tomorrow. With one hour before our Wags go live it’s time for a meeting with the show’s producers.

It’s 1.15 and back at the shops the party games have come to an end and Nicola sees the error of her ways and finally returns Michaela to Jadene. After changing out of her pyjama’s and taking a well earned lunch break… Jadene gives Michaela a pep talk.

It’s 2pm and over in Better Half Nicola notices what a mess the shop is in and decides it time to get organised.

Across town the challenge team go live on QVC and seem very pleased with their presenting skills. Elle and Julie wear ‘pregnancy suits’ under their outfits while Krystell and Julie point out the merits of the maternity wear to viewers.

It’s Friday morning and both teams are in bright and early to prepare to sell their maternity wear for the challenge.

Next door at Bows Jadene discovers they have mice and blames Michaela as she has a bad habit of leaving her food out and not throwing it in the bin.

When mentor Anna Park unexpectedly at Bows, she is horrified by how quickly the boutique has gone downhill.

Speaking to Krystell, Anna says: “Michaela obviously thinks it’s funny. It’s not funny. As a shop, you could be closed down by health and safety.”

With their time as managers of the opposition Jadene and Nicola have different views on returning to their shops. While Nicola can’t wait to get back to Bows (I told Better Half customers that this shop is rubbish!”) Jadene is reluctant to go return to Better Half. “I think I should have been in Bows from day dot, not Better Half.”

With the challenge scores at 3-2 to Better Half, can Bows equalise this week and make the most profit from selling the maternity wear?
