Singer Barry Manilow is set to appear on the ITV1 talent contest on December 2 in a Manilow themed night.

The remaining contestants must perform one of the star’s classic hits in the hope of winning votes from the public.

Barry Manilow’s best known songs include hit singles Mandy and Copacabana (At The Copa).

He will perform a selection of songs from his new album, The Greatest Songs Of The Sixties, on the show.

The X Factor has already seen stars like Lionel Richie and Rod Stewart take the stage and this week we will be treated to a Westlife performance.
