Oh, the claws are already out between Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh!

In the first live show of the X-Factor series, ten of the acts were kept on by the voting public, leaving two acts to battle it out head-to-head – Chico and Addictiv Ladies.

The two performed well, Chico showing a better stage presence, but Addictiv Ladies being by far the better singers (and better lookers from my point of view!) Sharon Osbourne and Simon both voted to keep their respective acts, although Simon misheard Kate and almost ousted Addictiv Ladies by accident!

That aside, the casting vote was left to Louis. We could hear Simon quietly imploring Louis not to kick out Addictiv Ladies. His pleading fell on deaf ears, because Louis had no hesitation in dropping Addictiv Ladies!

Not a popular decision. I liked Addictiv Ladies. They possibly weren’t the best act and probably wouldn’t have won – but at least they were fun! Chico on the other hand – although apparently a nice guy – is irritating me with his maneuvers on Sharon Osbourne. Although he’s got great stage presence, his singing is seriously under par. Leading me to believe he should have stuck to stripping!

Anyway, Simon fired a parting shot at Louis from the stage as he ushered Addictiv Ladies off – “Louis Walsh, you’re a fool”

I agree! If Chico wins this competition, I’ll be seriously peeved….
