Danielle Peazer is one proud lady tonight.

Just minutes ago her famous boyfriend took to the stage with his band One Direction and performed for billions of people and a worldwide audience at the Olympic Closing Ceremony.

We have pictures and videos of the performance here and totally loved the rendition of ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and the fact the lads were so composed and chilled, considering the fact that they have only been together for two years.

One Direction have come a long way in that time and it’s hard to believe that this time last year they hadn’t even released their debut single, which went on to top charts all over the world.

Tonight they joined the Olympic lineup with some of Britain’s best known and most loved musical stars and Peazer was clearly bursting with pride. She has been dating Liam Payne for two years and tweeted him saying:

‘From the days at Fountain Studios to singing at the Olympics to 2billion, I have loved you every single day. So proud @Real_Liam_Payne xx’

We have to admit her message made us well up and cry a little, and we’d only just dried our eyes after seeing our boys rock that massive moving lorry stage!

The professional dancer went on to tweet a few fans, admitting that she thought her man looked great this evening too, writing:

‘@Jasminebex @teamgb @real_liam_payne woohooo! Didn’t he look lovely xx’
