After the so called X Factor 2012 ‘fix’ Carolynne Poole insists ‘I like Louis Walsh’
Carolynne Poole may be ‘gutted’ that her X Factor journey is over but it appears the brunette beauty is not holding any grudges.
The country singer was eliminated from the ITV show last night, amid a huge ‘fix’ row in which some fans claim Louis Walsh was told to vote her off by X Factor bosses.
He seemed extremely nervous when it was revealed that he had the deciding vote between Poole and Rylan Clark and first opted to save Carolynne, before changing his mind and taking Rylan forward instead.
After pictures emerged of him speaking to a producer, while Caz was still singing her save me song, Twitter erupted with viewers claiming the whole thing was a set up, but Carolynne isn’t going there it seems.
Speaking on This Morning she confessed that she is upset to be leaving and said:
“I’m still gutted. I’ve had about two hours sleep and I woke up this morning thinking ‘did that just happen?’.”
Howeverm she said she won’t fall out with Louis over his decision, even though it was him that also ended her dream last year at judges houses. She said:
“It’s really weird because I like Louis, I do, I have a soft spot for him. You know what he’s like, he’s been like that forever.”
Carolynne explained that as soon as the bottom two was announced by Dermot O’Leary and she knew she was going up against dramatic Clark in the sing off, she resigned herself to elimination.
She continued:
“As soon as I was in the bottom two with Rylan I thought ‘that’s it’.”
However she has pleaded with people not to take their fury out on him, insisting that he’s ‘really nice’ and not at fault. The former Emmerdale actress said:
“I know the public haven’t been receptive to him but Rylan is my friend, he has been one of my friends since bootcamp and I don’t like that this has created an opportunity for people to be really nasty to him because he is nice.”
Rylan may be ‘nice’ but Gary Barlow looked anything but as he stormed off the stage last night, upon the result being announced. Poole admitted that the Take That star was ‘fuming’, saying:
“Gary was fuming. I didn’t want to look at him too much because I was getting upset. I felt like I’d let him down.”

Carolynne was robbed
What happended last night was a disgrace. Is this show a singing contest or a put the “I cant sing” idiot through show? Carliynne should be put back in the competition to right things.
i cant blieve what happened last night what is the point of a sing off .if u r not going to put the best singer in the sing off .a joke .i honestly will not watch the xfacter again this year

Louis initially said “I want to keep Carolynne” but then Dermot, instead of just agreeing like normal, acted really weirdly and asked him again if he wanted to keep Carolynne, and then shouted at him again to make a decision, when Louis very clearly said that he was keeping Carolynne. It was as if Dermot was trying to remind Louis that it had to go to deadlock and that he couldn’t pick Carolynne.
Also, when Gary stands up he says to Louis “why deadlock?” and Louis says “I had to, I had to Gary”
(although he could mean that he couldn’t make a decision and had to go with the public vote)
There are lots of other things that point to it as being a fix (Louis whispering to Tulisa at the end, Tulisa showing Louis the paper, Dermot getting so stressy blahblahblah)
but I guess we’ll NEVER KNOW…

I feel so ripped off. It’s not fair on poor Carolynne, no offence but Rylan’s vocals aren’t up to the standard of the rest whereas hers weren’t amazballs bit they were better. I actually hate Louis Walsh >:( X factor is such a fraud but I have to keep watching it til Lucy Spraggan is out <3 <3

Watched this show from day one and have contributed my part by voting over the years. But NO more, totally tired and fed up with the lack of professional judging which always results in contestants being humiliated. The purpose of the sing off is to give one of the contestants a second chance, the contestant that gives the best performance should be saved. In any job, if the employee cannot carry out the duties required the employer would have to sack them, you cant just have the workplace full of blundering fools. That is not good business.
Rylan would make a fine female impersonater but comes nowhere near the talent of Carolynne. True it was a tough break for her but now she can see how many people believe in her.Hopefully this uproar will cause some changes in the show..Carolynne is is a singer not an entertainer and so much the better.

I am devastated about Carolynne, she was robbed. I want her to release an album because her voice is really beautiful. Ella Henderson to win now.
Why have X Factor changed the way we can vote. You can now vote for an act before they sing. Has this just turned into a popularity contest? If people are waiting for an act to sing before they pick up the phone then Carolynne going 12th out of 13th must not of helped her cause. Everyone should be equal and the voting for all acts should start when we have seen them all perform. This is not a singing competition anymore. Carolynne should be given a place back in the competition for the way she has been treated. To be told you are through then no you aren’t I’ve changed my mind was a joke. Well done to Carolynne for remaining professional through the ordeal. You are a true Yorkshire lass
