We revealed earlier this morning that MC Harvey had claimed that just after Cheryl Cole broke up with her husband Ashley Cole, she found comfort in his arms.

The former So Solid Crew star is best known for cheating on Alesha Dixon with Javine and later ruining his relationship with the singer and mum of his child, by sleeping around once more.

This week, he insisted that X Factor’s Cheryl Cole likes the bad boys and that all the time she was supposed to be dating American dancer Derek Hough, she was secretly having a fling with him.

However, Cheryl Cole either doesn’t remember the relationship or is so worried about how it may affect her image that she is on PR patrol, as when she heard about Harvey’s claims, she took to Twitter to blast:

“Was this “relationship” happening in your head @harveyofficial?! Are you smoking something?”

She later insisted that she had only ever met the hunk on a few occasions, back when she was in Girls Aloud and he was still with Alesha.

Cole added:

“…@harveyofficial I think I’ve met you once maybe twice at public events and With your wife!! #sh*tjustgetsweirder”

But Harvey has a lot riding on this story and is either completely sure that it’s true, or is desperately trying to cling to his five minutes in the spotlight, because straight away he hit back saying:

“Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans.”

“I had your back @cherylcole untill you sent that sh*t, dissapointed in you if the public seen these emails you would end up with egg on your face.”

The singer then insisted that he is not doing this for attention and even claims that he has proof of their relationship, adding:

“And let’s get this straight @cherylcole I don’t need no hype of you! I’d rather go broke and work in sainsburys than talk about your personal sh*t.

“This is not a twitter beef I still have massive respect for @cherylcole but you shouldn’t of tweeted that knowing we both have personal messages to eachother #silenceinthecourt.”

At this point, Cheryl’s Twitter account went quiet and we are still waiting for her response on the issue.
