Alexandra Burke and Trevor Hodgson blew the judges socks off on Saturday nights audition show, even though they are both at the tender age of 16!

When Trevor first walked in, I imagine the judges felt like the rest of us and thought “oh no not another geek” but Trevor quickly dispelled any of those notions with his amazing rendition of ‘Something inside so strong’. Simon said I’m gobsmacked, you could sell a lot of records?

Alexandra, who looks at least 20 sang Whitney Houstons ‘Saving all my Love for you’. Simon Cowell praised her for singing it in her own style, which I’m sure was a relief as thats one of those karaoke classics that they are bound to hear at least 100 times a day!

Both teenagers have made it through the audition stage and are in the final 21 contestants who will attend Bootcamp training in the later stages of the show. If rumours are to be believed then both will be under the management of Louis Walsh who has allegedly been given the under 25s this year.
