X Factor champion Alexandra Burke’s debut single release ‘Hallelujah’ today breaks ANOTHER chart record, with the track selling more downloads in its first two days than the previous record holder sold in a week.

The single has sold a phenomenal 149,546 copies on download only, making it already the highest selling download in a one week period after only two days on sale.

The previous record for the most downloads in one week was held by Leona Lewis’s single ‘A Moment Like This’ which sold 139,000 in seven days.

Every year’s X Factor winner is battling to live up to the huge expectations raised by previous winners, and this year Alexandra is close to surpassing all of those expectations. After just two days, she has already set another new landmark – selling more downloads in a week than anyone else on history – and could be on her way to breaking more records.”
