Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has admitted that she would be terrified if she was invited to mentor hopefuls on this year’s series of the show.

The 21-year-old, whose single All Night Long will be released on Monday, told The Daily Star: “I’d love to go back but I don’t know about mentoring – I would be so nervous.”

However she wouldn’t be so scared of performing on Simon Cowell’s new American version of the show.

Alex added: “I would love that but sadly haven’t spoken to Simon about it.”
