X Factor winner, Alexandra Burke has revealed that she wants Simon Cowell to give Cheryl Cole an official role on her team as she doesn’t want Cheryl’s mentoring to stop as the show ends.

Alex told The Sun: “Cheryl will play a major part in my career. I am making sure she stays involved.

“I respect her opinions dearly. She was in this position six years ago and she can advise me well.

“She will have an official position as well as being my friend. We are always texting and calling.

“She texted me at 4am saying she couldn’t sleep because she was hyper on Sunday. She said it was an exciting time for her.

“I am going to her place soon. I’ll meet naughty dog Buster.”

I bet Girls Aloud will have something to say if X Factor begins to take over Cheryl’s life. She does still have a music career of her own after all.
