Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has revealed that she would like to release a ballad from her album ‘Overcome.’

Following her recent uptempo songs ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘Broken Heels’, Burke says that she’d like to release a slower and more heartfelt song. She also added that she’s glad that she’s managed to mostly escape comparisons between her and fellow X factor star Leona Lewis to date.

“I’ve been given the opportunity to show my true colours on my first two singles.” Burke said.

“I think it’s great that I’ve shown there’s a difference, because a lot of people were comparing us in the beginning.” Alexandra added to The Sun.

“Now that we’re both out there doing our thing, people can see we’re very different.

“So I’m glad her music and my music have shown that. But I’d love the next single to be a ballad. Let’s see what happens.”
