American Idol’s Adam Lambert acts the diva at Storm Lee’s album launch?
We L.O.V.E Adam Lambert and think he normally comes across as quite a happy, fun and easy going dude, but a story in the press today seems to suggest otherwise.
Insiders claim that the former American Idol runner up turned up to a party to celebrate the launch of Storm Lee’s new album – you remember Storm? The one Louis Walsh made dye his hair red on last year’s X Factor – and threw a bit of a strop.
The launch took place in LA and a source told The Mirror that the ‘Whaddya Want From Me’ hitmaker turned up late, demanded a ‘table away from everyone else’ and threw his weight around a bit.
It is claimed that he refused to have his picture taken with fans or by press,which makes you wonder why he bothered attending at all.
An insider claimed that the only time Lambert chilled out and cracked a smile was when Lady Gaga’s backing dancers had a ‘dance-off’ with some of Kylie Minogue’s.
However, fans of Adam dispute this story and say that he enjoyed the evening from beginning to end, would never throw such an obvious diva tantrum and point towards photos of the event, which show the star smiling and looking happy, alongside his boyfriend hunky Sauli Koskinen.

The fans version is the correct one Lisa. It’s just a pity the Mirror article was given hits, should have been left to die.
Who in the heck is Storm Lee anyhow? Never heard of him. Adam has always been a sweet guy, respectful of others, and supportive of fellow artists, don’t believe he engaged in the behavior described for a NY minute.
Just another attempt by the tabloids to stir up non-existent dirt. I’d be highly surprised if the “diva” reports are true, given that just about everyone who’s ever met (including me!) or worked with Adam generally praise him for his friendliness and generosity to other people and artists, even promoting many other artist’s work to his 1m + Twitter followers. It makes me very cross and sad that the only press this unbelivably talented artist and genuine human being gets here in the UK is stupid sensationalist negative stuff like this!
Adam’s always respectful of others as well as being very supportive of other artists too. I don’t believe he would ever expect preferential treatment over others, he just not that kinda of guy. Sad that such utter rubbish was printed by the UK Mirror & know that the fan version is the correct one. .
The truth is in the pictures that have surfaced from this event, Adam smiling and posing with fans. Video shows him bopping his head to the music alongside his hot boyfriend Sauli. He is not off by himself, but right in the middle of the fun, supporting one of his friends who was a dancer at the event. The publisher of that article has pie on their face for such shoddy and unsubstantiated claims…Insiders? really?..probably some disgruntled guy that Adam turned down….

The entire Mirror article is based on one “reveller”‘s (their words, not mine) account – not exactly fact-based reporting, if ya ask me.
What a load of B***S*** How on earth could such a polite, lovely person as Adam be slandered like this. Shameful – I hope an apology is forthcoming sharpish! I though Storm Lee had been binned off anyway it’s where he belongs.
There are plenty of pictures of Adam with fans and attendees at the event, plus a video, which prove the Mirror’s report WRONG. Also, it wasn’t an album launch – the event was “God Save the Queens” with SEVERAL performers listed. You should know how to do research if you are writing a blog.
A picture is worth a thousand words. There is MORE than ONE photo of the event. And they ALL prove the “Mirror” account to be SLANDER and nothing short of defamation and character assassination.
Yes, I am a fan of Adam’s. My husband and I met him. He shook my husband’s hand and signed not one, but TWO items for me..smiling and looking into our eyes all the while.And not phony or condescending in the least!
We have met MANY famous people..Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Roger Clemmons, Kevin Costner, and the list goes on. Not ONE was nicer or more accessible than Adam Lambert. Not guilty. Case closed. Period.
Adam is not a diva. He’s one of the nicest guy around.
“An insider”? What insider? I am British and I am really embarrassed by these British tabloids (such as Mirror.co.uk) which keep on making up nasty stories about the celebrities!
Storm LIVES in LA. He has NOT released an album yet. But threw a party to inspire and honor any One who is downtrodden and outcast. Drag queens, trannies and anyone who is treated like rubbish in mainstream.. Storm and Adam have been friends for years. And Adam came to support the show and storm. Clearly the CLUB are to blame for this stupid rumor. Adam and storm were seen chatting and hugging and clearly no diva behavior on Either side.. Adam admires storms music and clearly they have history. Stop trashing storm on these boards. He has worked harder than Any of you would ever know. Adam knows which is why he shows up in support of him. There is more to storm than Xfactor UK.
This story is as reliable as Perez Hilton’s about Adam at Gaga’s BD Party…which was defuted by the bar and Gaga herself. It is amazing how some do anything to get headlines and lie about Adam…frankly because they want to make money off their lie, have homophobic ideas about Adam and are jealous…Total BS…I have seen the pics from the event…Adam and Sauli were very visible and friendly.
