According to the Daily Mirror, Amy Winehouse has been secretly calling and texting X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg who’s just 16 years old.

The paper reports that the singer invited Eoghan – who is nine years younger than her – to join her for a night out in London.

An X Factor source is quoted as saying, “Simon will hit the roof when he finds out about this.

“Amy is a massive talent but she’s in a bad place and the thought of her becoming pals with the youngest finalist is too much.”

Amy, whose marriage to newly released jailbird Blake Fielder-Civil, was given Eoghan’s phone number by her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield who met Eoghan backstage at a filming of the X Factor three weeks ago.

Amy reportedly wants Eoghan to sing on Dionne’s new album which is currently being recorded.

A source close to Amy told the paper, “Amy wants to meet him whether he wins or loses.

“She’s a massive fan and thinks he’s cute. She told him he was doing well in the competition and to keep up all the good work. But she was also insistent that she wanted to meet up when he wasn’t rehearsing – and Eoghan was up for it.”

Amy, it seems, loves The X Factor and has been watching  every week but an X Factor spokesman has tried to play down her interest in Eoghan saying, “Amy’s a fan of Eoghan and wished him well.”

However, news of her calls and texts to Eoghan followed yet more of her trademark bizarre behaviour. On Thursday night Winehouse was photographed wandering the streets of Camden holding a vodka bottle and offering photographers a drink.
