Anastacia has been confirmed as the next guest judge who will be joining the X Factor lineup next week.

So far we have seen Geri Halliwell in Liverpool, Rita Ora, Nicole Scherzinger and Leona Lewis in London and Mel B in Manchester and next week, when auditions for the ITV show hit Glasgow, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos will be joined by the US star.

The LA based crooner will be performing in Berlin, Germany over the weekend but will jet into Scotland on Monday morning for the next round of tryouts.

She tweeted her followers last night, writing:

‘Packing my bags 4 another gr8 trip 2 Europe. I’ll shoot vid from airport 2morrow,’

‘Head 2 Berlin for Skoda show then Glasgow 4 XFactor auditions. Funfunfun.’

Anastacia has some reality TV judging experience and in 2010 was one of the main judges on talent series Don’t Stop Believing, a contest inspired by the hit TV show Glee.

She also acted as a guest judge on the Italian version of The X factor back in 2009.

As for musical experience, Anastacia has been highly successful in Europe, Australia, Asia, South Africa and South America. Her debut album, Not That Kind was released in 2000 and was praised by legendary singers such as Elton John and Michael Jackson.
