Andy Abraham Gives Up His Career In Music

Former X Factor runner up, Andy Abraham, has decided to give up on his musical career.

Abraham funded his entry into the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year with his single, ‘Even If’, but was humiliated after finishing in last place with just 14 points.

He has decided that he will now concentrate on a career as a property developer.

“He was absolutely gutted at the result,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “He said he felt he had put in the ‘performance of his life’, so to be given ‘nul points’ by 22 countries was humiliating, especially after he staked in a large amount of his own cash.

“The result was both a personal and financial blow and as a result Handy Andy has decided to turn his hand to property developing. He’s got a few properties he’s working on at the moment. It’s not a great economic climate – but it’s marginally better than the music industry.”

I’d like to know what is wrong with Andy trying to work as a singer in his region? ? ?

This is good enough for the majority of professional musicians and singers. So surely if Andy has any prospects of retaining a career the answer lies in the region he lives in.

Its either that or maybe Andy simply isn’t good enough to survive in the real music industry away from the lights and the financial incentives of recording and being studio made.

He lives in my area and there is not really any clubs for singers to perform in so it would be very difficult. The only clubs locally are night clubs, warehouse raves and the likes there are no longer clubs you can go to to listen to singers.

Hi everybody i don’t know why the sunday star would publish an article about me without talking to me first it seems like the press wants to end my career by themselves, so for the’re information i have not giving up on my singing career i love it too much and have so much to look forward to and work at to give up like, a series of uk dates ( called an evening with Andy Abraham ) and my new album ( EVEN IF )to promote. I don’t know where they got this information from all i know it wasn’t from the horse’s mouth so unless you all hear it from me please don’t believe all you read, i still believe there’s a market for the 25-65 soulheads or music lovers of anthemic soul which i can fill and i won’t stop trying to achieve my goals.

    Thank you

    Andy xxxx

Well I for one am greatly releived that you will be carrying on. As one of the above mentioned ‘25-65 Soulheads’ I love your music and personality/nature. I have routed for you ever since X Faxtor and still maintain you should have won. I will be travelling from Oxford to Brighton to see you on 18th Dec and can’t wait. Keep up the good work. (Incidentally, I can’t actually believe I am writing like this at 42 :-)
