X Factor singer,Behrouz Ghaemi, has said that his mum is really proud of him after watching a copy of his audition.

The show is reportedly forbidden in Iran so the singer told The Sun that a friend had downloaded an illegal copy of his audition and showed it to his mum.

Ghaemi said: “He took it round to my mum who was overjoyed and burst into tears. She texted me this afternoon to tell me she saw it. She was so proud.

“Back home music was not allowed. If you listened to rock music the government looked at it as evil and you risked going to jail.”
