Bianca Gascoigne seen ‘Going Down’ on X Factor 2012 (VIDEO)

Bianca Gascoigne has appeared on just about every reality TV show going, so we should have known that it was only a matter of time before she showed up on The X Factor.

The model and of course step-daughter of football star and famous tear shedder Paul Gascoigne has previously shown up on Love Island, Celebrity Coach Trip and ‘Snog Marry Avoid’ just to name a few and tonight, was seen making another desperate attempt to get her name back in the newspapers.

Gascoigne turned up in London earlier this year and made it as far as the judges’ auditions, where she tried out for Gary Barlow, Rita Ora, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh.

She told producers beforehand that all that glamour modelling and reality TV stuff was just a distraction to her and that she has always really wanted to be a singer, she just got thrown off course. The beauty told staff that she was desperate to be known as something other than Gazza’s daughter and wanted the judges to realise that she was chasing her dreams, not just another shot at fame.

We’re not sure they bought her story though and all four panelists looked a little skeptical as she took to the stage to sing ‘I’m Going Down’ by Mary J Blige. It was very waily and screamy…..we didn’t enjoy it at all….

After her performance Gary berated Bianca, saying that her vocal performance had not been strong enough and came nowhere near the standard of other 25 year old singers he had seen. He thought the whole thing was a little bit ‘mediocre.’

Louis was slightly nicer and told Gascoigne that she had a ‘great image’ and ‘not a bad voice.’

Tulisa knew Bianca from the celebrity circuit and revealed that she had always found Gascoigne to be a ‘nice girl.’ She admired her attempt to take her career in a different direction but added:

‘I don’t think the vocals were strong enough for this competition.’

Rita was of the same opinion and thought that while it wasn’t awful, the singing wasn’t up to scratch. She concluded:

‘I think we’ve seen better singers.’

Unsurprisingly, Bianca got four nos and failed to win a place in bootcamp. Do you think she was treated fairly? Did you enjoy the performance and do you think she deserved another chance?
